HANGMAN (Ver 1.1) The classic guess a word
=================
Usage: HANGMAN [/b] [/h] [/n] [/s]
│ │ │ └─ suppress selftest
│ │ └─ no sound
│ └─ help (same as ?)
└─ bypass checking if MsDos graftabl is loaded
This is the classic game where you have to guess a word one letter
at a time or be hung. What makes this game more interesting and
educational is using foreign vocabularies. The program will ask you
for the file of words to use. The words in your vocabulary may be up
to 25 characters long. Words with non-alphabet characters, as well
as too long words, will be skipped by the program. One twist in the
game is timed input. You only have a maximum of 20 seconds to enter
each character.
In order to be able to display the entire ascii character set in a
graphics program, you must first load the standard MsDos graftabl
utility. There are many device drivers that may replace this need,
and therefore you have a /b option available to bypass graftabl
checking. If you are sure you don't need graftabl.com loaded, use
call:
HANGMAN /b
TOWERS (Ver. 1.0) Towers of Hanoi, arrange disks
=================
Usage: TOWERS [/d] [/h] [/n] [/s]
│ │ │ └─ suppress selftest
│ │ └─ no sound
│ └─ help (same as ?)
└─ demonstration (the program plays)
This is the classic puzzle of the Towers of Hanoi. Your task is to
transfer the tower from its current pole to another pole by moving
one topmost ring at a time. A larger ring may never be moved on top
of a smaller ring. Have fun.
Requires at least an EGA.
